Looking for some good trails to play on in the Columbus GA area. I am currently stationed in Iraq and plan on having some fun when I get home in JAN 06. I would like to know of some good trails that are reasonably close to Ft Benning GA. Also looking for others to wheel with.

Former Kelley Hill Boy...

Hey Thanks for all you are doing over there. I was there in 03 with 1st Armored Division. I'm out now but my last unit was 1/30 Inf on Kelley Hill. I can tell you this some of the best trails around Ft. Benning are actually on Kelley Hill. I've gotten a Hummer stuck out there. It's alot of fun and can be hell on your truck if you aren't careful. The entrance to the best trails is at the Subway on Kelley Hill. It goes from pavement to gravel to dirt and sandstone. Couple of cool waterfalls and rivers too.

Take care of yourself overthere,

Dirty Thirty for life...

I don't suppose this area in question is a legal spot. If not, please don't post information regarding it. We do not condone illegal wheeling.

Dont worry. All of Ft Benning is open to wheeling just no quads and bikes.

tankmech is right.. must check that out... drop me a pm when you get back i'll be in kent-tuk-y for school at knox, i'd be up for wheeling a few places if you need a second to wheel with besides i got a wheel a few more places in the south before i get stationed out west in hood or carson. or we could hit up tellico in NC (a must hit before i leave bragg).
