I am looking for the name and/or part number for the interior door weather shield. Its the weather cover, usually plastic materiel, that covers the interior of the door within the door itself. If you take off the interior door panel there is a plastic shield that covers the window regulator and motor. I have checked RA, 1AAuto, and even Fordparts.com and cannot find it or what it is called. When I put new speakers in I tore up the fronts and now am going to do regulators/motor and I know I will need to replace them. If I can't acquire them I guess I could make them out of some type of material and adhesive. But I'd really prefer buying them already fabbed.

Anyone know what these are called and or maybe even a part#?

Thanks!

SWS, thanks for the info! I'll keep looking. I'm thinking that anything at the JY will already be torn up pretty good. I prly will make them myself.

Seems Ford never sold the "vapor barriers" separately unless you bought a complete door. I've had my trim panels off so many times due to actuator and latch issues I'm surprised mine aren't torn to shreds and still intact. Would think heavy gauge plastic sheeting used for building and construction would serve the same purpose. We'll come up with something.
