Replacement watershield?

Anybody know where you can buy replacement watershields? I had to tinker with the washer motor mounting on the liftgate of my '97 XLT because the washer arm was hitting the handle on the glass and skipping across the window. The OEM shield could probably be glued back, but parts of it tore, and if I can replace it, I'd just as soon do that.

Ford says they don't have them, and I'm not sure where else to look.

Also, as a follow-up, if I can't get a new one, what type of glue do I need to look for to put the old one back up?

When you say watershield, do you mean the metal trim that goes over the HMSL? I can probably find one at the boneyard if you have a pop-rivet gun to put it back on. Have to drill the rivets out and remove it to mess with it- that stuff bends like aluminum foil. Might be a few weeks before I can go out there and look, but thought I'd toss the offer out if you don't find anything in the time being- PM me if you still need one in a few weeks.

No, I was referring to that sheet of plastic that is behind the trim and glued to the sheet metal on all the doors.

tape it up , and tape it to the door like i did,, it works fine for me,
