I apologize if this has been posted, I couldn’t find, a thread, or anything. If there is I’ll gladly delete, or let it be deleted, and be shown the way to it. My 98 XLT AWD 5.0L V8 has a small leak from the radiator under pressure, and since it’s getting colder, and we are barely scrapping by. Is there any other model vehicles that share the same radiator? Like from a junkyard, I know for instance that; Yes a v6 radiator could work, But run a little warmer. However my Explorer is very very temperamental when it comes to how hot it wants to get when it’s putting out heat for the winter. As for AC Evaporator obviously that can wait but I figured I’d ask, and I believe it shares that part with the v6, feel free to educate and learn me something. This is my daily driver, and our family hauler so is important to get it done correctly, if I had money for new ones right now, I would trust me. Spewing out my precious antifreeze is not a good way to go, or save money. Thanks!

@Sauc3r

I read that you're looking for a 22 year old radiator from a junkyard, or a "shared" radiator from another model, but if that doesn't pan out, here's an alternative.

Rock Auto

New Radiators
Price Range: $89 - $140
The offerings with the RED HEART next to their description are their most popularly sold brands/model.

Alright, I’ll definitely check it out. That kind of sucks there aren’t any other models that I know that share the radiator, or anyone else knows of.

I have a APDI/PRO 8012174 in mine and so far after 8 years it's held up just fine.
