Looking for replacement interior trim panel fasteners.

I have 1997 Ford Explorer Limited and after having done some work on the left rear panel, the large/long fastener clips I pulled out are worn and won't go back in to secure the panel. Approximate dimensions are: head is about 18mm or 3/4", height is about 38mm or 1.5", stalk is 9mm or 3/8". I've looked at Amazon, clipsandfastners.com, and Auveco with no luck. Any help finding this would be greatly appreciated.

Did you try your local parts stores? Although I have never looked for Explorer ones, my local NAPA seemed to always have ones that worked fine.

In the junkyard, when I removed interior panels that used those fasteners, I would toss decent ones in my tool bag. That way, I would have spares of the correct color.
