Looks like I have come to the transmission issue

Recently was backing into the garage...heard the thunk and then boom no reverse.
I've read through quite a few threads and it seems it is most likely the reverse band. Im posting this here, in hopes someone can point me to a good place here in Oregon to get it fixed, without getting ripped off of course. Im guessing it would be better to just get the whole thing rebuilt?


I apologize if I posted this in the wrong area, but it seemed like the only logical way to ask local people around here.

FYI: Its a 1999 Limited V6

I think Ford dose a 3 year 100K on reman's, not a bad warranty. We also sell Yamato (like Jasper) with the same Warranty as the ford. We install both at work and have not had one come back yet. You can get yours rebuilt for less but the warranty usualy sucks and QC is hit or miss...
