After getting my oil pressure sender repaired the technician noticed a noise from engine when i arrived he popped hood and took off cap tube where you fill the oil, I could hear a ticking/knocking sound coming inside the oil tank. He said he has seen it in other 4.6l engines where the cam bolts have come loose and if they are still in good shape just need to be torqued, or it could also be the timing chain guides that need to be replaced. Anyone have either of these issues before? He said it would prob be a 3 or 4 hour job. Any insight would be appreciated.
