2002 Ford Explorer XLT V6
My brother recently had a fender bender involving my 02 XLT. After the accident I just had to change the front bumper, but I noticed that the passenger side headlight was hanging kind of loose. I opened the hood and the mount where the headlight goes mounted to is cracked and broken in some areas. I checked and its a complete piece that expands the whole front of the truck, but it happens to be that the passenger side (where the hit in the accident was)is broken, therefore a hanging headlight. It bothers at night, when you have the lights on and on that side the light is focused on the floor! So I want to know what's that part called, or maybe any suggestions on where to order online if possible. Thanks.

Yes. Thats it. I just didn't know it was that complete. Thanks for the help Teejay4490.

would the same part for the Sport Track fit on a XLT?

Yea. already ordered it. I didn't noticed that you could've check the vehicle specs in the bottom. Not much of a ebay user. Thanks again.

Done, son...

Ordered and received the part. Wasn't hard at all to mount back. The previous HEADER PANEL was totally destroyed. After removing the headlights and front bumper, I just followed the pattern of bolts and screws. I just have to paint the black part that shows around the grille. Sorry that I didn't do a follow-up on How-to. Here in NY its getting cold, and plus I was doing it all on my own. (LONER)

Here are a few images tho.

That came out really nice. I have to do the same thing to mine. My header panel was smashed when I bought it in Feb 2010. Good to know that it's an easy fix.

Is this the one you ended up getting?: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1L2Z8190AA-...04-2003-2002-Car-/140651919972#ht_2811wt_1139

Here is what mine looks like:

Francisco1022, how is the header panel holding up? Can you please post the name of the seller you bought it from?

Thanks, Rondo
