To the OP - did I read correctly that you bought the car as a "certified Pre-owned" car?
Do you still have dealer paperwork that says such?
Did it have a warranty and what does it say.
because if it was considered certified - they do so with aftermarket parts in play. They either warranty fix that or you might have a basis to sue them for repair costs.
