I have not driven my Explorer in quite some time. I had to park it to attempt to resolve a convoluted issue. So I just began to drive it, apparently I haven't driven it and it shows. It was dropped off for its first oil change, which was done last week, my mom in law picked it up and dropped it at the house. Today I went to drive it and almost had a panic attack! I saw the drivers mirror shaking to nearly cause motion sickness. When I grabbed the mirror it would easily move and not retain its position. Well after the blonde moment passed, it was identified that someone manually moved the mirror. So after using the auto fold and open feature a few times the problem was solved.
Hopefully by posting this, someone can avoid embarrassment. I was beginning to pick up the phone to call the dealership and finally common sense came into play.
