hey guys.. just a quick question for some of you guys that might of had this problem. I'm losing antifreeze. I cant see a sign of it anywhere, not in the oil, not around the intake gasket (had that problem on my 91, gasket blew out on the driver side), im not smellin it out of the exhaut, and ive tightened the clamps on my hoses. The radiator stays full, its the resevoir that needs some coolant every couple weeks or so. Any ideas?

So you are not losing any out of the reservoir, maybe when you are parked after driving?

Mine was leaking out of the thermostat neck. Not really an easy place to see, on my 94 anyways, **** in the way.

It's possible (and fairly common) when the lower intake manifold gasket leaks, it leaks internally (It's also common for it to leak externally, just depends on your engines mood). If you haven't tried tightening the lower intake manifold bolts, I'd give that a try.l

if it is seeping from somewhere then it wouldn't be on the driveway or whatever, but a steady slow seep from somewhere would probably dry up before collecting into a drip, maybe dry up from engine heat. there is something you can put in your coolant and then you can check under the hood with a uv light or whatever they use and it will show up then. Failing that maybe add some stop leak????
