Going to be putting some strobes/led's/neons in and on the vehicle... of course they won't all go off at once, etc... tasteful but kickass methinks...

1. Are all the interior lights 12v?

2. Can I lengthen the leads on neons/led's to 10 feet or so without issues? I can't see any way around this for some things...

3. How do you get multiple strobes to work together? Ie. 1 flashes, 2nd flashes, repeat... etc. Another question on top of this, is where do you get the strobes? I want to replace the lights under the mirrors with them, but all the strobes I've seen online are at least an inch long (too long). I need LED size.

4. Can I just take a 12v lead and attach the positive ends of 4 neons to it without any problems?

5. Does anyone know of a sound-activation device for leds/neons that's separate and cheap? Last time I tried to hook up more than one neon to one I had "issues" = "burning smell and no more worky"

6. Anyone know of any electronic places I can get parts to make my own LED strobes? I believe the part I need is called a 'capacitor' and just builds up charge until it releases it (the strobe) and then repeats... creating the strobe effect. I know basic electronics but I'm looking to see if anyone has done this sort of thing before.

7. How do you mount the interior strobes directly to the ceiling/etc? I'm VERY timid when it comes to drilling into anything I can't easily replace...

8. I want to put some LED's into the front/rear lights for an alarm indication, when the vehicle's off. They'd just be wired into a switch inside. I was looking at them online and they said something like "scatter LED's" and was wondering if that's a different type of LED with a wider angle to them or what, or will normal ones work just fine?

=-=-=-=-

Any or all questions answered is great, thanks! :)

I look forward to posting all the pics as it gets done. I already have a billet grill + clear turns on the way. More to come.

questions 1,2,4. yes.
3.you need a strobe controler, they usually have flash patterns. just hooking up individual strobes to 12v will not make them flash at the same time.
5. i know streetglow/optix makes one. its a music interface.
6.capacitor only releases its charge when the power is cut
7.glue/velcro something sticky??
