Leave them off? Do you mean the sway bar links? Is that something that is safe? haha Not really to good with suspension and all that so I honestly have no clue haha

Leaving the endlinks off and removing the swaybar will help performance off road, but on the road it is a safety issue. The swaybar is there to help reduce body roll during emergency manuvers (or every turn if you drive like me). :) You can drive around on the streets without swaybars but make sure you get a feel for the new handling characteristics before you do any high speed swerving or turning. haha

So, I would probably be ok to do what I need to do today after work then work on getting it off over the weekend? Just no high speed maneuvering haha

You don't need to take the wheel off. Just turn the wheel and reach in there. Use a sawzall to cut it close to the good bushing. Punch the bolt out of the bushing with a hammer. This fix is elementary. I do some pretty serious riding and can vouch for the Motorcraft ones. Quality piece if you install it properly. I might suggest over or undertightening as a reason for premature failure. Did any of you who installed Motorcraft ones use a torque wrench? I doubt it. Good parts can't work properly if they aren't installed properly.....

Oh and I took mine up to governor with one and two broken links. Its fine at speed, just bucks real bad and you look like an idiot passiong somebody. Remember to fix both of them because mine failed within two weeks of each other. And to all who are ragging on Ford/Motorcraft engineers, It is far better to bust a 15 dollar part when you hit a curb instead up having to buy new, more expensive suspension components. The swaybar links are sacrificial parts. It saves your suspension from more costly repairs.
