get your alternator checked out..

If the idle went down to 200 RPM's then that explains the battery light - engine wasn't turning fast enough to generate sufficient voltage from the alternator.

The idle issue sounds like the precipitating problem. Check out your idle air control - it might be sticking and in need of cleaning. Also make sure your MAF sensor is clean.

Or it could have just been a bit of bad gas....

or take it to auto parts place...they check it for free

it was a momentary light, then it went off... otherwise i could go into work (sheehy ford) and borrow my buddies scanner..

how can i check that?

oh btw i use shell and it hasnt done it since.... so idk? might brush it off

If it doesn't do it again, you might not have to do anything...

But if the idle problem happens again:

IAC Dead Link Removed

MAF Dead Link Removed
