After i did the airbox mod i been experiencing low rpm at idling. While in park it will be at 1k then drop quick like right above the 500 mark. with foot on the brake it will be on the 500 line. What could it be? i removed the tube in the air box and added another hole in the front. i never disconnected anything on top of the airbox, i was able to get the bottom out without doing anything to the top.

plz help

Did it start running like this right after the airbox mod?

Try disconnecting your negative battery cable for about 10 minutes.. I have heard that will help clear it up. It resets the computer so it adjusts to the higher airflow.

Thanks for the reply,i will try this

Check the wires to your MAF and maybe even clean the MAF itself.

yes, unplugging the battery, and cleaning the maf should clear up the issue...

I as, well as other 3rd gen members that did the mod have had no ill effects that you are mentioning...
