I am looking to purchase manual locking hubs for my X. The cheapest price I can find for the Warn with conversion kit here in Ontario is approx. $400. After looking through some of the threads here, I see some of you are only paying around $160+ in the US. I don't need the hassles of buying from the US (especially with the Canadian dollar so low). Anyone have suggestions?

with todays exchange rate $160US is only $258.06CAN.
and with NAFTA i don't think you pay duty, so why wouldn't you order them from over here?

www.national4wd.com or check with some bone yards,
I searched hi and low in calgary and the best i could do was $125.00ea at the wrecking yards. if you get em from a wrecking yard ask for a warranty most offer 30 day free replacement.if your real lucky you can get warns with the allan key locks (keeps wheel bearing from backing off) they stopped making em for some reason, there is a write up some where on the site about this. Any one know what other companys that make manual locking hubs for explorers other than warn?

I got a quote of $335.00 from national4wd for warns a few months ago, cant remember if that was conversion kit incl. or not, I think so. The autozone in Port huron Mich. close to me was 120.or so and 35 for conversion kit(milemarker) still cheaper, NAPA has warns, Id check if there is somewhere close in New York you could go to as its cheaper for sure. Oh ya no duty just taxes if the guy feels like sending you in.
