2001 Sport Trac
Hello everyone, I have a 2001 Sport Trac. Just added some 20's and need to lower it, but now I'm broke...lol What is a cheap way to do this. Whats the deal with Lowered 2 Inches In Front With Torsion Twist . How do I do this and is it safe. Will this screw up my ride?

Welcome! You didn't specify if yours is a 4x2 or a 4x4, not that it matters. The procedure is the same. You can drop the front of a 4x4 1.5-2" without over stressing the axle half-shafts. I would imagine a 4x2 limits would be similar due to alignment issues. On the rear, 2-3" lowering blocks will do the job. The front drop is free, except for the re-alignment (and camber kit if needed) and the rear is cheap enough. You can do both yourself but it's just as simple to have the alignment shop drop the front as they do the alignment.
