lowering my x

HI Everybody!
I am new to this wonderful forum and i just got my hands on a 98 explorer. the first i want to do is lower the X. but i have no idea how much it would cost and if i can do it myself. i am sure many of you have done it before, so all of you're advice is appreciated. also, if anybody nows a couple of simple and cheap mods please tell me.

search, search, seach. i'll think you'll find a lot of what you need by using the search function here. you also may want to check out my pics. then you can ask about any specific questions later. btw my lowering was under 150 done by a shop!

Welcome to the site.

As far as info, tons here to find. Check out the Sport Trucks Forum. I haven't lowered my X, but by all appearances, it should be easy and fairly inexpensive to accomplish. The only real cost would be in the shocks.
