M/T's 4 cheap.. worth it?

ok, so the wife gets a flat yesterday, and we're at the used tire place for a replacement, when I notice some Mickey Thompson Belted Baja's 31x11.5. I ask what he wants for em and it's $300. The tires look brand new. So I'm wondering if maybe I should buy these and mount em and keep em around for serious wheeling and use my pro-comp A/T's for everyday driving. Anyone have any experience with these tires??? Would it be worth it???

Those were the first tires that I had on my Ex, I mean size and everything! They are pretty good tires, but do not ride with them on the street, they will wear down quickly. They are a very soft rubber, and produce a pretty significant amount of road noise. But if you do not mind noise, then its not an issue. But as far as worth it, I would think so, thats pretty cheap!

sounds liek a good deal.... if they are just for wheeling, then they are fine.... not sure what wheeling htough, if i remeber, those tires were best suited for sand use....
