So yeah, I got a dead display mach stereo and tried to follow the written directions, but I guess I'm a visual type of guy. Can anyone help me out and point out where exactly to solder?

The display resistors are normally in a bank of 4, with "510" or "180" labels on top. The only 4-bank I see in the photo is in the lower left hand corner, just below the blue wires. It looks like one is missing (not an uncommon feature...they do fall off if the solder is really bad). I did this on my 2006, although it has a different radio. I also did it on a '99 Mounty overhead console. Both were 4-bank resistors, I'm assuming you'll be looking for that here also. If you can't find them, just solder all the resistors (I see more on the right, middle to top)
