Ok... so I started Pickle after all the problems I caused and it idled at 1k...

Then I realised the MAF was unplugged... so I plugged it back in n made no difference...

Is there something wrong with my MAF?

Si

that is odd. did you try unplugging the MAF again and running it again to see what happens? if the MAF is bad, or if it isnt plugged in, the truck will usually stall. at least it did the one time i cleaned my MAF and forgot to plug it in before starting up my X. then there was oen time when i was off road and my KN cone filter came loose taking the MAF with it, both times my truck stalled.

With no MAF for the ECM to read, it falls back on default. This means a rough & higher Idle.

Since you did the 5.0L swap...
Whats the lettering order on the MAF connector? Might check another 5.0L lettering order and compare it to yours.

My guess something is wrong, from either the MAF, to the connections, to the wiring circuit continuity. Time to check the pins on both the connector and the ECM.
