Magnaflow Exhaust System

I installed the Magnaflow system (#15610) in my '98 XLT and am very happy with it. The fit was very good and I highly recommend it. I bought it from Explorer Express. It is not too loud and gives a nice deep growl upon acceleration. At idle it has a very quiet rumble. The only thing is that it has a burning smell right now, which I think comes from the packing used in the Magnaflow mufflers. I have been told that this goes away after about a week.

I have the 15421 muffler with a custom 3" tailpipe on my 97 V8 explorer. Had the smell strong the first week and off and on for about a month after. Big performance boost and great sound!

I wasn't too sure that I would want to go with Magnaflow over a regular system, but after hearing that clip. I think I would really like it if the salt ate through my exhaust this winter and I could then convince the wife that I need a replacement. Sounds Great!!!
