I have seen and heard horror stories about Car Toys in Ft Collins. A guy purchased an alpine eq320( remote display Eq) beiing that our installer was booked and couldn't get it in. So He went down to Car toys in Ft Collins to get it installed. not only was the guy over charged. his amp rack was unbolted and left that way. his side panels where gouged. they installers mounted the display crooked in the headliner. generaly totaly f#@$ed up.
one of our former installers used to work there, it was policy to charge for everything and sometimes over charge. charge a customer for 20 ft of 4 guage and only use 10-12 ft. charge a customer for a complete rewire to bypass a factory amp and only use an adapter to do it.

I have heard of peoples equipment being stolen right out side there shop door. with all wires taped etc.

becouse of this and other experiances I have seen and heard I do my own installs or only have people I know and trust do it. which is very few.
I have seen total crap come out of reputable and certified shops.
