making a 4wd a 2wd

howdy!

i have a 1994 xlt 4dr and sadly its a 4wd :thumbdwn: so i wont to make it 2 wheel drive to get it on the ground ( maybe with air bags) but any way i wont to know what all suvs/trucks can i use to make the swap. EX. ranger, najho(s/p) or other ho-splorer, so if any one knows about this please help.....

Ps. are there any explorer junk yards that deal explorer parts that i could look up? or would the parts wieght to-much to ship with out an are and a leg?

Why not trade it in and buy a 2wd. You would need a new transmission and front end and driveshaft to do it and on a 91 that would be pretty expensive in relation to the cost of the vehicle.
Only post once. Just tell a moderator and they will move it to the proper place.

you wouldnt need a new tranny because you leave the t-cae in place but lose the axle
