OK. My 94 sport 5 spd has auto hubs that sound like they are tap dancing when I turn.(Snap, crackle, pop) I was wondering where is the best place to buy the manual conversion. And which conversion and site is the best(cheapest) to buy from. Thanks for the help ahead of time. Gary

I got mine form Summit Racing, Milemarker manual hubs and conversion kit for around 150.00

Auto Zone stores sells the Mile Marker hubs but by special order only.
www.clemson4wheel.com has the Warn hubs that most guys here seem to use. Clemson has the Warns for $144.95 and the spindle nut kit that is needed for the conversion for $18.95.

Ok thanks. Are there any opinions on quality of these products. Both milemarker and warn? Just wondering. Also are there any other sites to compare prices with? Thanks, Gary

It's worth it to spend whatever extra the warns may cost, to get the lifetime no questions asked warranty.

I second the Warns thing... My son works at a shop that sells both the Milemarker's and the Warns. Milemarkers come back - Warns don't. The most common thing they see on the MM's are the cases swelling up - sometimes so large that you can't get the hub out of the wheel!

In comparing back to back, the MM's "look" better, but there must be something different in the metals.

I got Warns... (and you guys would puke if you heard the price, but I can't sell them for that anywhere else...)
