I got a quote for $250 to get my auto hubs converted to manual. I have heard this is a very reputable shop. Is this a decent price?

If that includes parts and labor, it's a good deal.

Yeah if that includes the price of the hubs than its not too bad of a deal.

Just labor though-no way. It only takes about an hour to do them.

From what I've seen, the parts (hubs plus conversion kit) should retail for ~$150. That leaves ~$100 for labor. Depending on the going labor rate at the shop, that's 1-2 hours. Seems reasonable.

You should just install them yourself. I did mine in about an hour. I have a great write-up with pics on my site.

I'm with Chris, do 'em yourself...It's not too hard... I got milemarkers for 115 bucks including the spindle conversion kit and installed 'em myself...that's 135 bucks you could give to me :D
