Manual trans maintenance?

is there any scheduled maintenance that has to be done to a manual transmission? i dont know anything about it. my x has almost 150K miles on it, and i just wanted to know if there was anything i should do to the trans. it runs fine and shifts fine. just wondering about preventative maintenance.

There is a good article in the FAQ section or the maintenance section check it out. I would suggest more frequently depending on how you use it Good luck.

There is not really much required for the trans except to check the fluid level and change it at the suggested intervals. I have replaced the shifter bushings and gasket as well as the shift rail freeze plugs. These wear out after a while and crack because they are rubber.
