Yesterday while waiting at the bank driveup. I put the truck in park with foot on brake, and brake pedal went to floor.

Drove home three mile concern it did not feel right. Got home and smelled brake fluid. The motor is covered with fluid and master cly 90 % empty.

I have not diagonic yet, it been raining.

But why would brakes go down when transmission put in park. would there be a recall on something like this. It had to blow a seal due to fluid and it cover the motor but vaccum candister still dry.

Just fishing for ideas right now.

you probrally have a small leak that has been leaking overtime whatever it is fix it ir get it fixed right away

in the meantime dont let the resivor run dry

this happened to me, but one of my brake pads was so worn that it literally flew out and onto the ground, and caused a massive leak from the caliper. not sure if maybe this is something that could have happened? i had a bad pad or something, all the others were okay and it ate the rotor down to look like this--
