okay so my 1991 has been having problems, the clutch is really weak to press in, poor pedal pressure, my dad has used a flush machine that attaches to the top of the resivour cap and it pressurises fluid through the whole systeme out the bleeder screw, we have done this for the second time now and even the second time black crud still came out. Now inspecting the slave, I noticed it is very clean and shows no signs of leaking, my dad says it looks like it had been replaced not too long ago and the master looks original. so i was wondering if replacing the master might solve my shifting problem. doesn't shift as bad as it has but is usually hard to get into reverse, first varies from sliding right in to having medium to sometimes heavy resistance, all the other gears seem to slide right in or take a bit of force to get in sometimes, at least since the 2nd flush it doesn't creep in first. i figuered since a master cyl is cheap i would give that a try first since the slave looks new and doesn't have any leaks.
