My MATCO MD-1000
I LOVE this tool. CAN ready, Air bags, ABS, tranny, full live data stream that tells me every thing but what color the vehicle is.

in the manual to the specified device (MD9001N) says that it reads the ABS codes but nothing is said about whether it reads the tranny and other systems...

very confusing...

Part#: MD9001N Price: $749.95 tad pricey. . .
As another option have you looked into just software+reader for a laptop??

Yes it is interesting to me
but I do not know of such devices
could you help me with the choice of
may be you can give me a link?

nuts, your in Moscow, . . . .. .i have no idea if you can get it . sorry, my bad.

I have been thinking of buying it, but with money a little tight . .and no 'check engine' light motivation. . .lol

let me know if you buy it . . i would have last month, but i couldn't wait so i had a midas shop read the codes. But figure the dealer wants $90 - if it saves 3 trips it would pay for itself.
I had 3 already - PATsII key (i wonder if you can programe those with it), ABS codes 1st, Transmission Code 2nd, then ABS codes again 3rd i'd be ahead by now.

www.obd-2.com, he gives free upgrades every few months. Make sure to get a pwm +iso or greater combo. (may need CAN though for newer ex). Reads all extended codes, gem, abs (he is going to add bleeding and wheel speed sensors soon), ford self tests. Can't go wrong for that price. Long and proven product.

i'll check into that, my biggest thing was ABS codes. . wheel sensors.
Maybe he has them now.

1000 thanks to all.
I will be investigate this matter :)
You very helped!
I do not think that I will be problems with the purchase...

i wanted something like this as well, but something thats compatiable with most cars (obd,obd2,can).

are these what they call engine analyzers'?

i want to be able to get the info from the ecu's in real time. i want to play shotgun while someone drives so i can have exstinsive data..
