Max Energy Tuners

Anybody know if this will work on an '04 X with the 4.6?

I am looking for a tuner that will work with regular fuel to add a little oomph and mpg's. Any suggestions? I have a K&N intake, underdrive pulleys, and plan on doing headers eventually. Thanks for any input.

My brother has a hypertech programmer for his dakota and he hates it. He's just about to the point of taking the loss and buying an x-cal 2.

James at henson performance is definetly the guy you want to go thru for your x-cal 2, he's the best by far.

If you plan on installing a cold air intake or other performance mods I would stay away from the Hypertech. Solely for the reason is the way they make power is they lean out the mixture on a stock engine. Unfortunately for a modded engine this is bad but for a stock engine it won't hurt because Ford runs all thier engines a little rich from the factory. Hypertech makes a decent product but with SCT you will never out grow this tuner. Want to add nitrous,superchargers or turbos? No prob, just add the fuel support hardware and a retune and your done. It really isn't that easy but you get the picture.-j
