Maximum Speed Control Setting

Hi,

When I purchased my 2013 Ford Explorer there was no Maximum Speed set for the vehicle. Maybe a little
less than a year ago, I found there was an 80 mph setting placed on my Explorer, I did not place this setting. It now beeps every time I hit 75 and again at 80. It's especially annoying when you're going on a long trip and going between 75 - 80 mph and it's beeping like crazy.

Any idea how I can remove this setting? Any help would be much appreciated.

Looks like a My Key setting was enabled. Perhaps someone thinks you're driving too fast. Check the Manual.

And that setting is tied to a fob (or key, not sure if it's keyed ignition) so maybe you were driving with a different key/fob combo before?
