Maximum Speed / Speed Limiter

I think that there is an electronic speed block/limit in my Explorer. Speedometer stops always at 115 mph or 185 km/h. Even if I can feel that there is more power under the hood. Am I right? Is there any way to erase that speed limiter?

Why do you need to go 115+ MPH? Are you in Germany? :dunno:

Exactly:) I am in Germany.

Most new vehicles have a speed limiter as well as an RPM limiter. If you want to erase those parameters, you need an aftermarket tune. Get a Livernois tune with the specific intent on eliminating these parameters.

I'm took a look at Livernois tune.... but for me it´s not worth the money (The Tune + TAX + customs)

It does do a bit more than your stated requirement but, I can understand your dilemma. Maybe you can find a local tuner to help out with this. It's about the only way to eliminate the limiters.
