Maybe a dumb question

I just bought a 05 xlt. i found this site by looking for the Keypad code, which worked perfectly! My new issue is now with my pioneer 3200, i have seen about bypassing the brake issue. I contacted a local audio store and they told me to put a relay on it would cost $35. i was wondering if this was worth it or if i could do it myself without much hassle. Sorry if this is a dumb question!

When I had one in my Mustang I just hooked it up to a switch, and turned the switch on, but have not tried that other thing yet.

just ground out the wire thats supposed to go to the parking brake....

I've put in 4 double dins and that worked for all of them. Even worked on my brand new jvc

thats weird, cause it needs a source to "trip" it. guess if it works! LOL!
