Hi guys,
I'm pretty new to this site. So far I have found it very informative as I have already used the site to replace my door latch, program a wireless remote, and get lots of good general info on my explorer.
I just bought my new (to me) explorer from my gf. It's a 98 sport v6 sohc with 99k and overall in pretty good shape. The great thing is she gave me the lover's discount and only charged me $1200 for it (what can I say, I'm just that good
).
I live in Austin, Texas and would say I'm the average DIYer. I was wondering if anyone in the area new of a good repair shop/ mechanic for things beyond the scope of my ability? So far things are going great but a good mechanic I feel is an invaluable resource.
