I have another suggestion as well that a few of us have discussed. Would people rather do 2 seperate meets? One for the Northern club members & one for the Southern members? That way we are not tiring ourselves out driving & sitting & all that bologny.

That's why there was a suggestion for the more southern to group meet & the more northern to group meet. No one seems to wanna drive a long time, bs for bout the same time we drove, then drive the long way home. That's clsoe to 8hrs for some.

I don't think everyone is up for a huge drive for a local meet... Although it would be nice to get everyone together, it is likely not going to happen for people at the extreme geographical locals.. That being said the Baxter trip is def worth the drive...

I was kinda gathering that. So, should we close this thread and make a new one for south NEX meet or relabeled it southern NEX Meet? and start a new one for a North Nex Meet?

I have a good place to wheel in the Voluntown CT. area. Its about 10 - 15 min. from foxwoods and mohegan sun. (Im not a fan of the casino but I know some of you are.) Its a short trip to the Westerly RI. beaches. Old Mystic village is near by. There are some campgrounds in the area, But I do not know about cabins. Would more then likely need to be a summer tent site thing although there are hotels and such. Ill look more into it. A map of the area is here:

Oh no the meet before spring is so we can all bs & talk bout upcoming things. We will do a camping meet later in the spring/summer. I just don't wanna get stuck with people I don't know/or might not get along with while we are on the camping meet as I'm sure other people would agree with me.

Like I said it would more then likely need to be a summer thing. As for a meet and greet, Im all for that but I doubt I would want to drive 6 1/2 hours to maine (on 33's) for it. I am putting together a run in the area I spoke of for this summer. I just figured I would pass on the info to you guys. If you want to join along, great! If you are not comfortable wheeling with new people, No problem.
I will start a thread on the run when I have a sure date lined up.
