OK. So I checked out my brakes this morning and when i was looking at the passenger inside shoe I discovered it is falling apart. My mom heard a squeek so I checked it. Good thing I did. Anyway I need to know if I can reuse my old caliper slide pins, and what kinda grease I should use on them. Also I dont have a c-clamp to compress the caliper piston. Is there anything else I can use? I gotta do this by tonight because my mom has to travel tomorrow. Please Help!

you can reuse them if they are not damaged however the bolts on mine snapped when i tightned them so i had to get new ones. i used channel locks to compress the pistons i used siliconebrake grease on them make sure the rubber boot is not cracked

I often just use a wood block and a wedge. Piston should easily pry back with a screwdriver. By this age you shold replace the caliper with a rebuilt one, $13.

i now notice you have a 94 def replace the slide pins

Thankx alot guys. You always come through.
