anyone know what would cause my wires to start melting and blow fuses when I try to start my truck?
it started about a year ago. all of a sudden my truck wouldnt start. I'd turn the key and nothing. battery was good starter was good solonoid was good. then I found two wires under the dash that had melted together the two wire ran into som type of small black box relay. so I cut the wires and spliced them together with an inline fuse. that worked fine until about 3 day ago. it did the same thing again. now its just poping fuses as soon as i turn the key, wont even crank.
