i have a 97 ford explorer xlt with power seats...but it is a pain when me and wife switch drivers...does anyone know about adding the "memory" feature to this vehicle...the manual for my alarm (OEM) has instructions for turning off the feature that remembers seat location between different alarm remotes and i can even make it chirp to turn that feature on and off but it does not appear to have the memory to make the seat move?

any help would be appreciated?

thanks

It's because you don't have memory seats. The buttons are located above your power mirror adjustment switch. There is a module for the memory seat and I believe it's located at the seat itself. So if you want memory seats, you have to get the seats and all the wirings for the memory function from a junk Limited. It's gonna be a lot of work, but not as much as the trip computer you were talking about.
