Can you add memory seat option?

I was wondering if I could add the memory seat function to my truck? And if so, what do I have to do?

You have 3rd gen. Explorers, I might guess that they are the same design as the 93-01 Limiteds. I have a 93 Limited, a 98 Mountaineer, and recently found a 99 Limited donor vehicle. To fit into my Mountaineer, I need the drivers door panel, the memory seat, the wiring between those, and the other three door panels. The trim along the top of the panels is different between trim levels, so pre 2001 Explorers need matching door panels.

Look hard at your door panel, to see if there is room for just the memory seat switch alone? If there is, then you can keep your door panels. The 2nd gen. Explorer door panels don't have room for the switch on non Limited models.

There are six wires running to that switch. The memory seat module is under the memory seat itself. Good luck,
