My stock cd/cassette player in my '03 X/XLS began acting up about 6 months ago. The cd player began to cut out and come back on. Now it hardly works at all. It does it with both commercial and burned at home cd's. I've tried using cd laser lens cleaners (the cd's with the little brushee things on them) and they have no effect. Anyone had this problem? I'm tempted to remove the unit and try and take it apart and clean the lens by hand. I'm also tempted to replace the unit. Any help greatly appreciated.
