Michigan newbie

Great site, I am an X Bronco owner and might be getting my parents 95 explorer 5.0 awd with about 80K on it. Has anyone had problems with the driveline or anything that i just have checked out before doing anything serious with it?
I would like to get a body lift on it just to give it some height and improve the performance.
I will checking in to look more stuff and upgrades.

first off - welcome

Take a look around - there's tons of info on modding your X. Your drivetrain isn't to bad but there's always problems and upgrades. Use the search function it works well and if you have any specific questions throw-em out there i'm sure someone will come through.

I would def. have the transmission service first off, then start with the necessary things, plugs&wires, coolant changes ect. Some of it may not be needed but its nice to have a "fresh" platform in which to build off of.and welcome to the site.

I finally got the 96 5.0 awd explorer in the driveway.
I looked under the doors for any little rust spost and cleaned them and spraed some coating to seal it. Will get some pics this weekend.

I might get some fender flaresor flaps so the rocks don't kick up at the paint.
