I've been researching and it's hard to find what I want for my Explorer.
I have a 1991 4 door 4wd xlt 5 speed. I've done the SOA on the rear with ranger leafs to get the lift down a bit. I've got a drum brake EB dana 44 with radius arms I'm converting to disk to install in the front. I want to run 315x75x16's on 16x7 or 16x8 wheels. I'm looking at the min lift I can get by with in the front. It looks like most go with Wildhorse 5.5 early bronco lift coils but I'm wondering if the 3.5 or 4.5'' coils will do me. I don't mind doing minor fender triming or cleaning up pinch welds etc. I'm not looking for an all out rock crawler but more of a DD and weekend family wheeler for trail rides.

I think the minimum lift you can shoot for on a SAS is ~6 inches because of the engine/ ttb crossmember.

depends how much you want to cut and fab.

I have around 5-6 on with my 79/9" full widths. I have trimmed the k member and need to trim more though :)
