So from about 40 MPH to 70 MPH I sometimes get a vibration or undulation coming from the front left of the truck. It is nothing major, but at speed on the interstate, it certainly is noticeable, particularly since it is on the drivers side.

2007 EB V8
58,000 miles.
4 brand new Good Year Triple Tread Tires
Front breaks appear to have at least 40% left.

As simple as an alignment?
Warped rotor?
Hub/bearing starting to go?

Appreciate any suggestions!

40 to 70? I would bet on wheel bearing first.

Can you feel the vibration in the steering wheel? Does it get worse while braking?

Sounds like an out of balance or out of round tire since they are new. Road force balancing will find an out of round tire (not uncommon according to my dealer). Otherwise try moving both front tires to the rear and see if vibration moves. Sometimes a weight moves or is lost and a re-balance may cure the problem. Your installer will be happy to re-balance one or more wheels to fix your problem.

A warped rotor will show up under braking and not so likely otherwise. If the warp is bad then it may show up as your foot rising and lowering on the brake pedal while lightly braking at low speed. Not a likely cause of vibration while cruising at speed.

A wheel hub bearing will start to make noise long before it gets loose. Not a strong contender for a vibration at speed.

Tire and wheel runout issues may cause a vibration and this is likely to get worse under braking. Tires with damaged belts or misaligned belts could cause your problem since tires are new, you may have a bad one.

An alignment problem is not likely to cause a vibration as you describe.

Good luck.

Excellent, thanks for the thorough reply. Goodyear told me to bring it back for an alignment and check up after about 1000 miles anyways, and since its a new to me truck also, I am going to do that and I'll just let them know about the vibration and see what they have to say.

Braking is smooth, so warped rotor is probably not the case...plus when they put the tires on they said the rotors looked real good.
