Misaligned Headlights

Hey folks, I got my 2006 Explorer used about 2 years ago and it's always had misaligned headlights, one shines higher than the other making a very distinctive pattern. It's possible it may have been wrecked at one point since when I got it the front bumper was not fit correctly where it meets the fender well and one of the headlights looks new while the other has scratches and pits from age.

I'm wondering if there's a way to adjust these things?

Jon,
There should be an adjustment rod that can be turned either way for up and down adjustment some where around the top of the headlight under the hood. If i am thinking correctly it is pretty hard to miss on these models. The owners manual should go through the steps required to properly aim your headlights.
