Hey guys sorry if this is a duplicate post but could not find anything on this with a search of old post.
I just purchased a 3rd generation Explorer XLT for my daughter to drive. After getting it home found out that had no air coming out of 2nd row vent that is located on center console. After removing center console tray I discovered there is no plastic duct work connecting the center console duct work to the heater unit. where it should connect there appears to be a factory installed blank. Is this correct? To me it looks like it was blanked off for a reason not sure. Also its manual climate control.
Just trying to figure out why this is like this and if I could go to junk and and pick up part and what it would do to current system.
Thanks
