when the engine is running, and it's idling it's missing a bit... kinda like the spark plugs are going. does that seem like it's just the spark plugs? what else should i change besides the spark plugs? it's got 75000 miles on the engine. what maintenance is recommended for an engine with that kind of mileage on it? thanks guys/gals.

With 75K miles, it's time to change the spark plugs and wires anyway. I recommend Motorcraft double plat plugs and Motorcraft wires. No reason to spend more or go fancy. I'd replace those then see what happens with the miss. Might want to think about the radiator hoses and cap also; and might be time to change some fluids. Hmmm, maybe the Tstat and cleaning the IAC as preventative maintenance too.

Good luck!
