I am going to Moab on these dates, if anyone would like to join you are more than welcome. Just cordinate with me on this thread:
I am requesting some info from others that have been
1. Looking to Camp with a Tent, whats a cheap good place to do this.
2. Also what are some must see sights for a 1st timer, I don't want to wheel to hard since heading over to the Ouray run on the weekend.
3. If we end up going by ourselves is there any recovery services available from local shops? Hopefully shouldnt need with the spare garage im taking. Also not going to get to radical.

Canyonlands is where you camp.

Fins-n-things trail is an absolute blast and a fairly easy trail. Top of the world is an easy trail, as long as you dont take rose garden hill to get to it.

Hopefully I will be joining you

I'll keep it in mind if I get the B2 done by then.

Sounds good, anyone with the vacation time can make for a nice long week of offroading, since after this heading to ouray for the Colorado Run.
I'll look into camping info for Caynon Lands.

I stayed at Moab Rim Campground and loved it. Grills at camp sites, drinkable water throughout in spigots, wireless internet, and power for all.

I would suggest getting the moab guide book. It offers a ton of info for the entire area. Also, for a 1st timer, spend the 10 bucks for Arches Nat. park. It's gorgeous and there is some easy but fun wheeling in there. Oh, and I guess they've got big rock arches that are cool too ;)

Enjoy the sweltering heat too!

Yep I ordered the book from Charles Wells Guide to Moab and I think its 2nd edition. I che cked temp for that time of year shouldnt be horrible

Looks like gonna get a cabin at Canyonland on tuesday night and wed.

Were getting closer anyone interested? we should be there mid day tuesday.

Has anyone rode in the White Wash Sand Dunes, near Moab? Im thinking on hitting that up for a couple hours early some morning.

I'm not one much for towns and lots of folks when I go out that way. I can send you some info if you'd like. Just been too crowded around Moab. But there are lots of stuff to do not far from Moab. This is one: http://www.4wdandsportutility.com/a..._4wd_birthing_rock_utah_trail_ride/index.html I have the track for that and for the back way to Crystal Geyser if you have Delorme software. And I have track for over West on Robbers Roost and the Flint in Canyon Lands (Maize District). And for Beef Basin (Bobby's Hill, Elephant Hill, ect....). If your into the Hole-In-The-Rock trail I have tracks for most of that. Most folks don't know that the road went from Escalante to Bluff. Lots of fine country and moderate wheeling between Bluff and the Halls Crossing airport along the original route.

I might be in Utah in September or October. Just have to see how things go.
