Ok need some info. Is stock height supose to be the same for both front & back? because I have from rim lip to fender 9 1/2' back & 7 1/2' front so my point is if I do a TT ill have them even all around (9 1/2') but I'm planing on adding a leaf & 2' copperhead shakles to the back making the measurements different all over again ....to even all out would I be abel to TT again or should I try tursion keys would that work? Even after a TT .....& does anyone know what the stock hight should be with stock tires on a 1995 explorer xlt ?

well i can tell you that its probably not a good idea to raise the tt over 2" due to the cv joints.. as i remember your ex was lowered at one point? so you may have some more room to play with. ill get accurate measurements for you tomorrow but i believe i had 13 or so in. from ground to the pinch weld on my body i can get you fender gap measurements also

Yes ty reason I am asking cause I do not know if it was lowered in the front & I am trying to figure out the stock so I wolnt over lift due to the cv join:thumbsup:ts

sry man i been sick a few days... so stock is about 13" from floor to pinch like i said, and top of front rim to fender is right around 12" rims being 15s. also ive heard some shady things about the copperhead shackles, 1 the holes drilled are too small and have to be drilled out (unless they have addressed this issue) and 2 they come unpainted so may want to throw some paint on them so they dont rust.

Thanks!

i would not go with copperhead, they are not street approved. dont cheap out, spend a little bit more money on the dessert rat shackles, much stronger and come painted...
