Moisture around neg. batt. terminal?

I just notice this the other day, is it a sign that the battery is dying? She has been cranking longer than normal @ startup and it is the original battery. 2000 75k+ on the clock.

Not necessarily. That's fairly common. Have you tried cleaning the battery cables and cleaning the battery with baking soda and water?

Are the cables corroded where they attach to the lead connector?

It may be acid/water is leaking. You could pull the battery connector off and check for any cracks in the post or battery.

i would have the battery load tested. I am amazed you got 7 years so far out of the stock battery

A weak battery also puts a strain on the starter.
